Waratah Activity Group is a not‑for‑profit community organisation running inclusive, low‑cost programs that build connection, confidence, and skills. Everyone is welcome!

Founded in September 2025 to foster a safe, inclusive, and vibrant neighbourhood where residents and visitors feel connected, informed, and empowered.

Our Mission
The mission of the Waratah Activity Group Inc. is to revitalise and manage the historic (Athenaeum Hall) as an open, welcoming, and year‑round centre for community activation — where every voice matters, and every resident and visitor belongs.
We achieve this by:
- Connecting all residents through regular, inclusive activities (e.g., game nights, dances, films) to combat social isolation and community division.
- Cultivating local arts and heritage through exhibitions and workshops that foster the identity and self‑worth of all residents.
- Promoting inclusivity and sustainability by ensuring that the hall is welcoming, accessible, and managed responsibly for the long term.
